Georgia Peaches

I am a true Carolina girl; however, I am currently a Georgia peach but not for much longer.
The runner-up of American Idol Season 10 Lauren Alaina is from Georgia and came out with a song called Georgia Peaches and I just love it.

another year older....another year wiser.....

I am beyond blessed to have lived to see another year. I did not think of being 27 so fast, it just seems like yesterday when I was starting kindergarten. I am ever so grateful for the mercy, compassion, and grace I have received for above. If it had not been for him, I would not be who I am nor where I am today. I am so thankful to have been brought up as a child by loving parents who taught me right from wrong and how I should live and treat others even when I was treated wrong. As a child, I never dreamed of my life being like it has, but it has helped me become a stronger and more independent and confident person. We all face bumps in our life's road and we just have to ask for guidance, wisdom and strength to get over them.

Blessed

Sometimes we forget just how blessed we are...Then God gives you a little reminder and you know you are just where you were meant to be!

Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. Psalms 66:20

Life is a beautiful journey

 I was reminded that when I am broken and falling apart; I can still be mended.

January

It is hard to believe that January is coming to an end fast. I have been out of commission with my computer due to having it restored. I hope the problem is fixed for good! It has rained a lot the past several days and yesterday and today it is beautiful sunshine. I have some things to do before work this afternoon, so I must close. Happy Wednesday!

2012

I am very thankful and blessed to have lived to see another year. I never thought when I was a child that I would see 2012. Thank you Jesus! I was privileged to bring in the new year amongst family and dear friends. I am looking for new and exciting things to happen throughout the year. God has blessed me more than I deserve especially in these last 6 years. I have learned that I can do anything and Christ will give me strength. Philippians 4:13 is one of my favorite verses. I also have learned that whatsoever state I'm in therewith to be content-I mean literally. Although I am from SC currently living in GA; I am learning to be content because if it was not for the grace of God I would not be where I am today. Good things happen to those that wait. Patience is a trait that I am working to have more of. Happy 2012!!

2011 finale

What a year 2011 has been! Overall, it has been a good year. God has blessed me in so many ways that I did not deserve. The last couple of months have been tough since the passing of my grandmother in middle November. I am excited about 2012 and hoping for new things to come my way. Thanksgiving and Christmas was different in many ways this year. My grandmother was dearly missed on both occasions and will be missed at all of those to come. The past several days has been so amazing & unimaginable. I am looking forward to see what else comes my way and praying for God's guidance. I hope you have a Happy & safe 2012!
